Basic Beliefs of a First Christian Church
The following are the core beliefs of Harvest Christian Fellowship. We base our teachings on the foundational truths taught in the bible and practiced by the early Church. All our teachings and ministries are rooted in and flow out of these biblical doctrines and teachings of the First and Second Century Christians and the Church's practices and beliefs.
GOD
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We believe in the Holy Spirit that was given to us by the Father.
THE SON
We believe the Son of God came to earth and died on the cross for our sins. He was the perfect lamb of God and sacrifice given to us so that we can be saved.
We believe faith in the Son of God is the only way to be saved and inherit eternal life.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We believe He lives in believers and moves in our hearts and souls. The Holy Spirit is the presence of God on earth today. He is still healing and saving.
THE BIBLE
We believe in the Holy Scriptures, the Bible. We believe it is the Word of God and what it says is TRUE. We hold to the teachings found in the Bible.
OUR MOTO:
If JESUS SAID IT, I BELIEVE IT!

THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ. We, the Church, are His Hands, Feet, and Voice on earth. We, the Church, are called to carry the Gospel Message and bring salvation to the Lost. We, the Church, are called to strengthen believers in their walk in Christ and in the Power of the Holy Spirit!
Good Works
We believe that we are saved by God's grace and by faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that we are saved so that we can do good works. These include but are not limited to showing God's love and plan of salvation by witnessing, helping the needy, loving our neighbor, giving, prayer, reading the bible, and being part of the local body of believers.
